For example this one:
To: support@play.com Dear webmaster, I get this message: "Looking for something on Play.com? We are unable to display (..)" Now that's all fine and dandy, maybe my session got outdated. However, the link on the top of the screen, the actual play.com logo, links to this web address: <https://www.play.com/> which is a broken link! I believe it's this piece of HTML code: <a class="play-logo" href="/" title="play.com"></a> that you might want to change into: <a class="play-logo" href="http://www.play.com/" title="play.com"></a> If you want to observe this behaviour, simply browse to https://www.play.com/ and click on the logo. It's a broken link. Cheers, (..)
Hi there, Thank you for your email. We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems using Play.com. We are not currently aware of any technical issues with our site. As you are having problems when you try to access the secure section it may suggest that there is an issue with the PC that you are using. It may also be related to your security settings or a firewall setting. We would suggest that you review the security settings, or try and use another PC. If this does not prove successful please try again later. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused to you in this matter and thank you for your patience and valued custom. Kind Regards, Customer Support Team Play.com
Support, In response to my e-mail (see below) you have stated that the issues might be related to my computer. This is utter nonsense. I have even provided a solution (HTML code) for your website ... maybe you can forward my suggestion to the technical department. To prove my point ... please use your own browser and browse to this address: https://www.play.com/ It gives an error, which is cool. Now, here it comes ... click on the play.com logo ... this links to the same page (https) with the same error. So it is a broken link on your website. It would be nice to fix. Would be even nicer if you appreciate customers that raise such issues (and that even include a patch) instead of treating them like idiots. thanks (..)
